MINI Comfort Access is a keyless entry system for your car. It detects the key in your pocket or bag when you come within approx. three metres on either side of your MINI. It then switches the ambient lighting and light carpet on, welcoming and guiding you to the door. It can automatically unlock your MINI when you are approaching your car and one metre away without you having to touch the door handle. It automatically locks your vehicle when you move approx. two metres away. In both cases, there's no need to reach for your fob – the whole process is quick and easy. It’s just perfect for when you need to come and go quickly. You can’t lock your key inside by mistake, either.

Enjoy new perspectives, a wider field of vision and greater ease. This package adds extra functions to your MINI’s exterior and interior mirrors to make your drive safer and more comfortable. Electrically-folding side mirrors protect your MINI from damage when you park. The front-passenger side mirror tilts automatically when you reverse so you can see the curb. The smart-tinting glass dims to protect your eyes from glare. And you can save your preferred mirror and seat settings using the memory function. In cold weather, your mirrors automatically warm up to reduce condensation and prevent ice building up. And you get greeted on board every time by the MINI logo projection from your external mirror.

Enhancing your safety and comfort at night, the automatic anti-dazzle function reduces glare from cars behind you. Two photosensors detect if the light from behind is greater than from the front, and then gradually adjust the reflectance of the mirror according to the intensity. Since you don’t have to operate the mirror manually, your hands can safely remain on the steering wheel.

See things you might have missed. In addition to LED daytime running lights and powerful Bi-LED low- and high-beams, this package offers cornering light in LED technology. This is adaptive light distribution with increased illumination at the sides enabling you to see around curves and corners – for city, rural and motorway traffic as well as in bad weather. The high-beam assistant detects oncoming vehicles, and automatically activates your low-beam to avoid dazzling other drivers. In the light menu, you can choose from three distinctive light signatures created by daytime running light, front and rear light combinations – complemented by a corresponding welcome and goodbye orchestration.

Making light work of driving at night. When activated, the high beam automatically turns on when it is dark and turns off automatically where the roads are sufficiently lit. The High-Beam assistant is a front facing sensor integrated into the front of your MINI’s interior mirror. And it makes driving at night much safer by automatically switching the headlights from high-beam to low-beam to avoid dazzling road users. It switches back to full-beam once the road ahead is clear.

Enjoy a crystal-clear 360° visualisation of your surroundings and even greater comfort and monitoring. Parking Assistant Plus has all the convenient features of the Parking Assistant, and thanks to 4 integrated cameras (front end, rear, side view mirrors) you get a realistic 3D representation of adjacent cars, the kerb and the surroundings. This enables you to park and reverse in narrow spots improving safety and boost your confidence. The impressive Panorama View helps you observe what’s around you in dense traffic situations when your view is obscured by other vehicles. And the Remote 3D view lets you send information to a device so you have additional control over your MINI.

Charge up in style. The MINI Wireless Charging tray, located in the front area of the centre console, lets you securely store and safely charge any Qi 1.2-compatible smartphone as you drive, with up to 15 W power. Simply place your device onto the NFC pad to give it a top up. Once docked, the LED light will indicate that your phone is charging. It's compatible with smartphone covers up to 6 mm, so you don't need to remove your protective case. And it features an active cooling system to prevent your device from overheating to ensure optimal performance.

Find your way on the road with precision navigation. The new MINI Navigation Augmented View function offers an exciting enhancement to the MINI Navigation System’s maps view. Using the images from your MINI’s camera systems, a live video stream can be shown on your OLED screen and augmented by supplementary graphics that provide specific situation-based information. This is supplemented by navigation guidance that provides turn-by-turn directions, shows POIs and offers support in finding parking spaces. It also helps you negotiate confusing junctions by means of an animated directional arrow integrated into the video image making suggestions for your route.
